The new Invictus Masters Off-Season Cycle starts this Monday, November 2nd! With this new cycle, you’ll be able to subscribe on a month-to-month basis for just $39 a month! November’s focus will continue to emphasis on building foundational strength (specifically overhead strength) and aerobic capacity. We’ll also focus on foundational gymnastics skills to create a base from which to build volume upon going into the Open. Sign up link goes up on Friday – stay tuned for more details! “Wait A Second…Or Two.” by C.J. Martin Isometric pauses allow athletes to feel proper positions, and allow coaches to communicate corrections as the athlete feels the faulty pattern. The isometric pause also has the added benefit of helping to control intensity – slowing athletes down and forcing them to lighten the load so that they can meet the prescribed tempo.
